Local medical practice has an opening for a full time experienced Medical Biller/Coder . Medical Biller will assist with billing related questions for patients, healthcare providers and insurance companies in person, through e-mail and telephone correspondence. Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations mandatory. Seeking candidates with a minimum of (2) years working in a medical environment with experience related to medical billing and/or claims, ICD-10 and Medicare exposure is helpful. Computer skills and customer service attitude required! Certification or experience with athenahealth software a plus. Small office atmosphere – this person will also be cross trained to help with Reception and Front Desk duties as needed. Candidates will need to have top notch organizational skills and the ability to multi-task successfully
