Multiple positions available for full-time/temporary youth program assistants. This is an entry-level position for enthusiastic individuals aged 18 or older eager to play an integral role supporting area community youth programs. Positions are scheduled to start June 11 and will end on July 30. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Interested candidates must be reliable and available to work for the duration of the program. Primary duties are related to planning, coordinating, and conducting activities and educational programs. Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational and computer skills as well at least one year of human services or education related experience. Background check and drug screen required.
Requirements:
- At least one year of human services or education related experience
- High School Diploma or GED, post-secondary education in related field is preferred
- Experience coordinating youth programs and developing educational materials
- Strong Interpersonal and group presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of team members
- Personal qualities of being organized, creative, hard-working, patient, confident, with a willingness to learn
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
