Immediate need for (2) full-time Certified Medical Assistants in Kinston, NC. Position will require prior experience handling patient referrals, responding to requests for prescription refills, returning patient phone calls, obtaining patient medical history information, and administering injections. Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant *AND* A.A.S. Degree in Medical Assisting is MANDATORY for consideration. Previous experience working with pediatrics and/or family medicine is preferred. *Copies of up to date immunizations will be requested. Hours will vary from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Elect-to-hire positions with a probationary period, once hired permanently benefits will include: vacation, sick and personal days, medical, vision and dental Insurance, 401-K retirement. Pay is based on experience up to $16.00/hour.
