Established business in Pitt County is seeking an experienced Logistics/Customer Service Specialist to join their team. Full time, temporary to permanent placement. This is not an entry level position – ideal candidate will have at least (5) years of proven logistics and customer service experience. Must have good verbal and written communication along with strong computer and data entry skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and documenting all outbound and inbound shipments through various customer-based systems.
- Preparing all customer shipping and receiving documents including data entry and inventory control functions.
- Allocating and overseeing all inventory adjustments throughout multiple warehouses.
- Maintaining all departmental quality expectations including internal and external customer service, resource management, performance management, administrative functions to include time Management, process improvement, people and staff management.
- and maintain working partnerships with customers and customer-based support staff.
- Ability to adhere to all safety and DOT regulations and guidelines.
