Performs, analyzes and interprets highly complex chemical analyses according to established laboratory procedures, ensuring quality control standards are met. Performs bacteriological analyses on environmental samples. Reviews, interprets and validates test results and data; compiles data and distributes required reports to appropriate staff and regulatory agencies. Maintains EPA certifications, trains new employees and performs maintenance on instrumentation. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related science field and three years of analytical organic experience involving sophisticated electronic instrumentation in a laboratory.
